The Jerusalem branch of the Manufacturers Association's represents industrial plants in the Jerusalem district and vicinity and is working toward the increased industrialization of Israel's capital city, improvement in the living conditions of its factories and their representation before municipal and governmental authorities.

The Manufacturers Association in Jerusalem maintains contact and operates in conjunction with the entities dealing with industrial and economic concerns in the city, among them: authorities and government companies, statutory committees, academic institutions and colleges, industrial administrations and, of course, the management of municipal institutions in the city and its environs.


The Jerusalem Branch provides its members with a variety of services from holding professional meetings and seminars, and representing members before the municipal authority in everything pertaining to taxation and municipal fees, to initiating projects for promoting and improving industry, etc. The branch conducts regional activities in industrial zones around Jerusalem – in Mishor Adumim, Beit Shemesh, Har Tuv and Kiryat Gat.


Major issues handled by the branch:

Employment – Participation in preparing job fairs in the area, involvement in professional training issues, contact with employment officials and participation in leading the municipal employment forum.

Industrial zones in the area – Increasing the influence over the management of industrial zones, preserving industrial zones in the area, increasing the ability to influence processes connected with industry and its cultivation in the city.

Planning – Assisting with municipal processes and involvement in planning industrial zones in the area.

Individual service to members – Developing additional course subjects, seminars and training in assistance tools for industry and labor law, and providing an individual response to problems and inquiries from the factories.
