The Association of Elevator Manufacturers operates within the framework of the Metal and Electrical Industries Association. Its eight member companies account for around 85% of elevator manufacture and installation in Israel.
All member companies are under the full supervision of the Standards Institution of Israel and all elevators manufactured by these companies carry the Institution's approved authorization.
The Association aims to raise the professional standards of elevators and provides assistance in training workers for the branch.
Registered members of the Association are: Isralift, Nechushtan, Electra, Interup, Stav Elevators and Herut.
The Association’s Chairman is Mr. Oren Meitos of Electra Ltd.
