Members of this branch comprise leading Israeli shoe manufacturers, including those from kibbutz and government industries. Members are representative of all sections of this branch, including casual shoes, men’s, women’s and children’s shoes, army boots, etc.
Policy and working plans are established at branch meetings. An elected chairman, together with the director of the General Division and the person in charge of the Shoe Branch, are responsible for carrying out policy and working plans. Branch meetings provide an opportunity for exchange of ideas and for raising relevant issues.

- Professional advice on legal and legislative matters, as well as customs and taxation.
- Representation at government ministries.
- Identifying potential markets worldwide.
- Providing statistical data and access to commercial and professional data banks.
- International events, including conventions, exhibitions and fairs.
- Holding study days.
- Professional training for workers in the branch.
- Encouraging the establishment of funds for research and further study.
- Assistance in exporting for small and medium companies.
- Protecting “Made in Israel” goods, particularly against dumping.
- Helping companies to confront imports.
