ProximA is an independent firm, in collaboration agreement with DLA Piper. It was conceived and implemented by Serge together with Yves Brosens a colleague at DLA Piper.
Thanks to Serge work the firm is now considered as a reference for many key players in DRC and outside DRC with regards to Banking, Infrastructures and IPT notably.

Asoka Ranaweera is the founder and Managing Partner of Grid2Grid, LLC. The company helps investors structure investment and trade projects in emergent markets with a focus on Africa. Asoka has advised numerous clients ranging from governments, states, banks, diversified conglomerates to engineering and construction companies on projects in agriculture (upstream development of farms and downstream sales of commodities), power generation, construction of ports, roads, renewable energy, mining, oil and gas, and manufacturing facilities.
In 2012 Asoka was appointed as U.S. state of Maryland's Department of Business and Economic Development's (DBED) representative to Africa. Since that time more than 34 separate projects have been initiated on behalf of Maryland companies in Africa by Grid2Grid with many more in the projects in the pipeline.
